"IDEA BAR" text with light bulb pattern background

“The overarching goal is to nurture civic-minded individuals while creating world-learning experiences. Our youth deserve to be taught how to thrive in this beautiful world. Preparing scholars to be responsible for their role as stewards of the future will lay the groundwork for prosperity in their civic, fiscal, and personal journey of life.”

The Formula Force: Unleashing Math Superpowers

One day class on Monday 1/5/2026 2 session options:

  • Elementary grades 2-5th from 9:00am-1:00pm

  • Middle grade 6-8th grade from 3:00-5:00pm

We are launching two dynamic, grade-level-specific courses that transform complex mathematical formulas into engaging, graphic novel-driven superpower narratives. Students don't just memorize; they master core concepts by calculating the limits, angles, and effects of their heroes' abilities—from calculating the trajectory of a laser blast to modeling the decay rate of a time-freezing field.

Why This Works:

  • Engagement: Utilizes high-interest graphic novel scenarios to make formulas immediately relevant.

  • Conceptual Depth: Moves beyond rote memorization by requiring students to apply math to model and predict superhero abilities (e.g., using angles/distance for laser vision).

  • Immediate Application: Students see math as a tool for solving high-stakes, action-packed problems.

Two Core Courses

  1. Elementary School: The Angle Avengers (Focus: Foundational geometry, measurement, and problem-solving through graph coordinates and physical modeling.)

    • book is Max Meow Pancakes

  2. Middle School: The Critical Calculators (Focus: Advanced critical thinking, proportional reasoning, and abstract problem-solving skills, structured around scenarios that mirror high-stakes standardized test math.)

    • book is Escape From Mr. Limoncellos Library graphic novel
